Chris Boswell agrees to terms on massive contract extension with Steelers

On Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers made kicker Chris Boswell the highest-paid kicker in the NFL. It's being reported that the Steelers and Boswell have agreed to terms on a four-year, $28 million contract extension, tying Boswell with Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey as the NFL's highest-paid kicker on a per-year basis.

During his tenure with the Steelers, Boswell has been the team's most reliable scoring threat, with an 87.7 percent career field goal percentage and 95.7 extra point percentage.

2024 was Boswell's best season as he earned first-team All-Pro honors and led the NFL in scoring with 158 points and 41 field goals made. 2026 marks Boswell's 12th NFL season.
