Copa do Brasil U15 Round of 16 Set for This Weekend

The Copa do Brasil U15 competition is gearing up for an exciting weekend as the round of 16 matches will take place. This tournament marks its inaugural edition, and teams are eager to secure their spots in the quarterfinals.

Over Saturday and Sunday, 16 clubs will compete in knockout matches, aiming to advance further in the tournament. In the initial phase, the teams were divided into eight groups, with the top two from each advancing to this knockout stage.

The matchups for the round of 16 include: on Saturday, Internacional will take on Red Bull Bragantino at 3 p.m. at CT Futvida in Viamão-RS, followed by São Raimundo-RR facing São Paulo-AP at 4 p.m. at Canarinho in Roraima. Sunday will feature a series of thrilling encounters, starting with Ceará against Sport at 10 a.m. at Cidade Vozão in Itaitinga-CE.

Later on Sunday, the action continues with Paysandu versus Santa Cruz-AC at 3 p.m. at Modelão in Castanhal-PA, Vitória taking on Santa Cruz-RN at the same hour at Barradão, and Atlético-MG squaring off against Atlético-GO at 3 p.m. at SESC Venda Nova in Belo Horizonte. The day will conclude with the highly anticipated clash between Flamengo and Fluminense at 3 p.m. at Gávea in Rio de Janeiro, as well as Grêmio facing Palmeiras at Airton Ferreira da Silva in Eldorado do Sul-RS.
