Darren Till Bounces Back Strong to Claim Victory Over Aaron Chalmers at BKFC 90
Darren Till made an impactful entrance into the world of bareknuckle boxing, declaring that he is ready to take on anyone. Competing in the co-main event of BKFC 90 on Saturday, Till (1-0) faced a tough challenge from Aaron Chalmers (2-1) but ultimately secured a decisive victory with a powerful straight left hand just 22 seconds into the second round at Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England.
The fight had an intense start, as Chalmers caught Till with a quick left hook that sent him to the canvas in the first round. However, Till quickly regained his composure, and the brief respite between rounds seemed to bolster his resolve. With the first punch he threw in Round 2, he ended the contest, sending Chalmers tumbling backward before collapsing onto all fours.
Till, now 33, enjoyed a successful debut in bareknuckle boxing after a sporadic fight record following his exit from the UFC in 2023. Prior to this match, he had participated in three gloved boxing bouts against notable MMA opponents. His performance at BKFC 90 suggests that he may have discovered a more fitting arena for his talents.
"I was f*cking made for this sh*t," Till proclaimed during his post-fight interview, clearly elated with his performance.
Chalmers, 39, gained fame through his role on the British reality series Geordie Shore and has a mixed martial arts record that includes seven professional fights, with a 2-2 stint in Bellator and an overall record of 5-2.
