Dayton Dragons Set for Weekend Televised Games on Dayton's CW
The Dayton Dragons are gearing up for an exciting weekend, as three of their games will be broadcast on Dayton's CW. The action kicks off with a game against the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the Minor League affiliate of the San Diego Padres, on Friday, June 12, at Day Air Ballpark.
Fans can catch the broadcasts on both Friday and Saturday, starting at 7 p.m., while the Sunday game will be aired at 1 p.m. Tom Nichols, the Dragons' director of broadcasting, will provide the play-by-play commentary, and he will be joined by WDTN-TV's evening news anchor, Jack Pohl, who will offer color commentary.
Adding to the weekend's festivities, the national anthem will be performed by Tipp City's Faye Monroe Young, the Dayton Gay Men's Chorus, and the Kettering Adventist Church Children's Choir, enhancing the community spirit of the event.
This weekend's broadcasts are part of a broader 15-game television package sponsored by AES Ohio for the 2026 season, with games available on channel 26.1, Spectrum channels 13 and 1013, as well as Direct TV and DISH Network channel 26.
Additional game broadcasts on Dayton's CW are planned for June 26, June 28, July 2, July 24, July 25, July 26, August 7, August 21, and September 4, providing fans with plenty of opportunities to support their team from home.
