Dodgers Fan Cave Contest Showcases Passion and Nostalgia

Welcome to the second season of Dodgers Nation’s Fan Cave series! As we approach the midpoint of the season, host Ava Brand highlights some remarkable fan caves that take enthusiasts on a nostalgic journey through their love for the Dodgers. This week, we showcase some of the most impressive fan spaces submitted by dedicated fans.

First up is Jose Hernandez from Montebello, who has transformed his bedroom into a Dodgers shrine. "Thankfully, Jose says he has a very understanding wife who is also a big Dodgers fan,” Ava remarked. “She’s the real MVP here, am I right?” His collection features a variety of memorabilia, including signed baseball cards, jerseys, and unique stadium giveaways. Ava noted, “It’s hard to pick a highlight of Jose’s fan cave, but the Joe Kelly Mariachi bobblehead and the mini cooler certainly stand out.” One of his prized items is a signed Fernando Valenzuela Rookie Sensation baseball card, a nod to the legendary player’s impact on the game and the community.

Next, Tony Sandoval from Ontario has decked out his home office with Dodgers memorabilia. Bobbleheads adorn his workspace, adding a sense of joy to his workday. Ava commented on the impressive display, saying, “I see those bobbleheads taking over the printer. Hopefully that makes work a little more enjoyable too.” His collection includes World Series pennants and a coveted Shohei Ohtani bobblehead that had fans lining up down Sunset Boulevard. “I really like how you’ve maximized your space,” Ava praised. “Even though it’s smaller, every inch is filled with memories.”

Rick Crandall from Chatsworth has been a loyal Dodgers season ticket holder for 36 years, and his fan cave reflects that dedication. "Kudos to you," Ava acknowledged. His space is filled with memorabilia, including Dodgers bedding, numerous bobbleheads, and a special framed photo commemorating his first pitch at a game. Ava admired the collection's vintage flair, saying, “Looks like part of the 1970s remodel. I honestly like the pop of color here too.”

While all three fan caves showcase the dedication and passion of Dodgers fans, the ultimate winner remains to be revealed.
