Dolphins to hire another exec with a connection to their new GM
The Miami Dolphins have made several changes to their front office this offseason, including a few since the conclusion of the 2026 NFL draft.
That trend continued this week, as CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz reported that the Dolphins are expected to hire Cleveland Browns senior college personnel advisor Shaun Herock.
Herock played offensive line for the Richmond Spiders in college before transitioning to a front office role in the NFL. He started as an intern with the Atlanta Falcons, but moved to the Green Bay Packers in 1994 and worked for the team for 18 seasons (alongside new Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan for eight of them) and won two Super Bowls.
In 2012, Herock left to join the Oakland Raiders and in 2018, he served as their interim general manager after former Dolphins executive Reggie McKenzie's dismissal.
Following his time with the Raiders, he spent four seasons with the Browns before returning for a three-year stint with the Raiders. He went back to Cleveland last year.
It's unclear what position he'll hold in Miami, but it's clear that Herock has a strong relationship with Sullivan.
