Exciting Homestand Ahead for WooSox Featuring Purr in the Park and $2 Hot Dogs

WORCESTER — Following a star-studded weekend that saw notable figures like Drake and Patriots quarterback Mac Jones at Polar Park, the Worcester Red Sox are set to return on Tuesday for a six-game series against the Buffalo Bisons. This past Sunday, Jones and his wife hosted a celebrity softball game to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital and the MayeDay Family Foundation while the WooSox were away in Pennsylvania.

This week, fans can look forward to a host of enjoyable activities including $2 hot dogs, $2 beers, and the chance to meet Max Scherzer as the WooSox (27-27) welcome the Toronto Blue Jays’ Triple-A team. Additionally, Polar Park will observe “Peanut Allergy Friendly” week, ensuring no peanuts are sold during the games, although tree nuts will still be available.

The promotional lineup for the homestand includes several themed nights. On Tuesday at 6:05 p.m., the festivities kick off with Taco & Tequila Tuesday, alongside Tail Waggin’ Tuesday, where fans are encouraged to bring their dogs, and ALS Awareness Night, presented by YMCA of Central Massachusetts. Wednesday's 11:05 a.m. game features First Responder Wednesday, offering free tickets for first responders, as well as AbbVie STEM Day and a post-game autograph session with WooSox players.

Thursday evening includes the popular Deuces Wild promotion, allowing fans to enjoy $2 hot dogs, beers, and waters, along with Purr in the Park, where cat lovers can bring their feline friends. Other highlights include Greek Heritage Night and Uxbridge Town Takeover. Friday marks the start of MLB Play Ball Weekend, with the WooSox visiting Vernon Hill Elementary School to distribute Wiffle ball sets and gloves to children, in addition to celebrating Irish Heritage Night.

The weekend continues with a WooSox Free Youth Clinic on Saturday morning and a special day dedicated to honoring the Class of 2026. Fans can also enjoy post-game activities such as Sunset Catch on the Field, weather permitting, and on Sunday, the first 5,000 attendees will receive the Clara, The Heart of the Commonwealth bobblehead as part of Heart Health Awareness Day.

For those looking to engage with the WooSox, this upcoming homestand offers an array of events designed to entertain fans of all ages.
