FSU vs. Coastal Carolina Game Rescheduled to Sunday Following Weather Interruptions

The elimination game between Florida State University (FSU) and Coastal Carolina has been postponed until Sunday after facing multiple weather-related delays. The match was initially underway at Dick Howser Stadium but had to be halted six innings in, with FSU leading 2-1.

The game began at 2 p.m. ET but was first suspended at 3:15 p.m. due to rain. After a brief resumption at 5:45 p.m., play was again interrupted when more rain arrived, forcing officials to make the decision to push the game to the following day.

During the short period of resumed play, FSU managed to even the score and then take the lead with a home run from Cal Fisher in the fifth inning. The exact time for the continuation of the matchup, as well as the subsequent winner’s bracket game between St. John’s and Northern Illinois, is still to be announced.

The 2026 Tallahassee Regional continues to draw attention, with fans eagerly awaiting updates on the rescheduled games.
