Georgia Cornerback Cordaro Parham Commits to Michigan State During Visit
Cordaro "Shyne" Parham made a swift decision during his official visit, opting to join Michigan State as part of the class of 2027. His commitment marks the third addition to the Spartans' roster in just as many days.
The cornerback from Jefferson, Georgia, announced his decision on Friday while addressing Michigan State coach Pat Fitzgerald and a gathering of other recruits. Following his announcement, Parham shared a celebratory moment with the coaching staff, including cornerbacks coach Hank Poteat, in a video posted to his X account.
Although 247Sports has yet to assign him a ranking, On3 recognizes Parham as a three-star recruit. Standing at 6-foot-2, he has attracted nine Division I offers, including from Michigan State, Kansas State, and Toledo. His X profile mentions an impressive vertical leap of 41.3 inches, although this measurement remains unverified. In addition to football, he also competes in track.
Michigan State's recruiting efforts in Georgia seem to be thriving, particularly under the guidance of new cornerbacks coach Hank Poteat. Last recruiting cycle, the Spartans secured commitments from defensive backs Jonathan Granby, T.J. Umenyiora, and KJ Deriso from the same state. Early indications suggest that defense is a significant focus for Michigan State, with seven of their current commitments dedicated to that side of the ball.
