Greg Hardy Suffers Heavy Knockout After Significant Weight Misstep

Former NFL player and heavyweight fighter Greg Hardy faced another tough defeat on Saturday night, May 30, 2026, at Fight Nation Championship 31 held in Belgrade, Serbia. Adding to his woes, Hardy missed the weight limit by an astounding 26 pounds just a day prior to the fight.

At 37 years old, Hardy has struggled in the ring, having won only one of his last four mixed martial arts contests, all of which ended in knockout losses. Although he experienced some success in professional boxing with a perfect record of 3-0 from 2022 to 2023, he has also faced devastating knockouts in both an exhibition boxing match and a bareknuckle fight. Continuing in this manner could be detrimental to his career.

In this latest matchup against fellow UFC veteran Darko Stosic, Hardy entered the ring with a significant 52-pound weight advantage, but he was unable to capitalize on it. Stosic relentlessly pressured him throughout the bout, ultimately landing a devastating overhand right in the third round that sent Hardy crashing to the canvas. With Hardy unable to defend himself, the referee stepped in to halt the fight.
