Highlighted Talents from the 2026 QB Vision Gulf Coast Retreat

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – As summer sets in, high school football players across the Southeast are gearing up for a series of camps, including a notable quarterback-focused retreat held at Fort Walton Beach High School’s Steve Riggs Stadium. The QB Vision camp attracted around 80 quarterbacks eager to refine their skills, with attendees from Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee showcasing their talents over three action-packed days.

Among the standout performers was Camden Page from South Warren High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Class of 2027 quarterback, who led his team to the KHSAA Class 6A state championship last season, demonstrated his impressive arm strength and accuracy on the move. Page completed 174 passes for 2,374 yards and 24 touchdowns last year, solidifying his reputation as one of the event's top prospects.

Another promising talent was John Slagle, an eighth grader from Goodpasture Christian School in Madison, Tennessee. As a Class of 2030 prospect, Slagle impressed attendees with his ability to make challenging throws, making him a player to watch in the upcoming season. Cayden Creech, a Class of 2027 quarterback from Beech Bluff's University School Of Jackson, also stood out with his capability to execute plays from both the pocket and on RPOs, having thrown for 2,563 yards and 33 touchdowns last season.

Max Johnson from Owensboro Apollo made a strong entrance on the second day of the camp, quickly showcasing his skills after arriving. With 11 Division I offers already, Johnson is coming off a season where he amassed 2,502 total yards and 26 touchdowns, looking to build on his experience as a varsity starter. Brody Sparks, another Class of 2027 standout from Oak Ridge, demonstrated his dual-threat abilities, completing a successful campaign with 2,415 all-purpose yards and 23 touchdowns.

Florida's Carter Nunes, at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, showed precision during drills, aiming for a strong senior year after throwing for 2,012 yards and 23 touchdowns last fall. Xavier Isable from Paducah Tilghman in Kentucky also made his mark, guiding his team to the state semifinals last season while finishing with 1,862 yards and 20 touchdowns. Lastly, Bryce Crabtree from The Villages Charter School proved to be an impressive passer during the retreat, preparing to step into a more prominent role as he transitions into his sophomore year.

This camp not only highlights emerging talent but also sets the stage for the upcoming high school football season, as these young quarterbacks aim to make their mark on the field.
