For the past couple of offseasons, we've heard Jaylen Brown's name often in NBA trade rumors, and even after a career year in the 2025-26 season, his name is once again back in the mix.

An NBA insider revealed in his latest report that a few teams could engage in talks with the Celtics about their former NBA Finals MVP.

NBA insider Marc Stein named the Hawks, Rockets and Trail Blazers as the three teams believed to have interest in acquiring Brown this offseason.

"There is a belief in some corners of the league that Atlanta, Houston and Portland all have legitimate trade interest in Jaylen Brown," Stein said.

This doesn't mean Brown will be on the move, but after a first-round exit for Boston this postseason, they might look to hear offers on players to see if the haul they receive is too good to pass on.

Regarding the Hawks, Brown has strong ties to Atlanta, as he grew up in Georgia.

The Hawks have some movable players/pieces that they may look to package together to get involved in a trade where they can acquire a first-option, established player like Brown.

The same applies to the Trail Blazers, as they have several young players on their roster, and would love to partner Deni Avdija with another all-star or all-star caliber player.

The Rockets are in a bit of a different situation than the Hawks and Trail Blazers, being that they are a little more established and are coming off a disappointing playoff campaign and season where they didn't come close to meeting expectations.

As of now, there is no news that points towards a Durant departure, so the Rockets may look to add a star alongside him and Alperen Sengun.

As of now, it doesn't appear that the Celtics want to part ways with Brown, but some teams will want to at least see what it would take to acquire one of the league's best players from last season.
