Kickoff times, TV set for two more Texas Tech football games
Kickoff times and television coverage have been set for the first three games of the Texas Tech football season.
The Red Raiders' season and home opener Sept. 5 against Abilene Christian will be a 6 p.m. game on FOX Sports 1. The Sept. 12 game at Oregon State will be a 6:30 p.m. CDT kickoff on CBS.
Those two games were announced on Wednesday, May 27. Time and TV for the Red Raiders' third game and the regular-season finale were previously announced. The Sept. 18 Big 12 opener with Tech hosting Houston will be a 7 p.m. game shown on FOX, and the Thanksgiving night game with Tech hosting TCU will be a 7 p.m. game on ESPN.
Kickoff times and TV for all other Texas Tech games will be determined on a 12-day or 6-day advance basis in accordance with the Big 12's agreement with FOX, ESPN and TNT.
