And then there were two.

The Broadneck [Annapolis] Bruins and the Urbana [Ijamsville] Hawks are the last teams standing in Maryland's MPSSAA Class 4A ranks, surviving a 48-team field to set up the final matchup of the tournament.

The two teams have yet to play in 2026, but on paper, it would appear to be a pretty even matchup. Broadneck enters the game ranked No. 5 in the latest edition of the MaxPreps rankings for Maryland, while Urbana checks in at No. 11.

Both teams, however, have lost four games, with Broadneck holding a slight edge in the wins column with 20 to Urbana's 18.

Game time is set for 12:30 p.m. EST local in College Park, MD.
