Meadow Greens-Ramsey Ladies Golf Club Hosts "Best & Worst" Competition

On June 10, the Meadow Greens-Ramsey Ladies Golf Club featured an engaging event known as "Best & Worst." Members participated in a regular round of golf, where they subtracted their handicaps from their scores on each hole. The final tally for the event was based on the adjusted scores from seven selected holes.

In the front nine segment, Carrie Schwirtz emerged as the top scorer with a score of 25. Close behind were Janice Perrigo and Chris Swatfager, each finishing with a score of 26, while Pat Busker rounded out the winners with a score of 27, determined by a tie-breaking handicap.

For the back nine, Linda Youngmark took first place with a score of 25. Patty Shatek followed closely with a 27, while Ardie Pepper secured a win with a score of 28. Nancy Wesely rounded out the winners of the back nine with a score of 29.

Notable performances included chip-ins from Nancy Wesely on hole No. 4 and Jan Waller on hole No. 8. Additionally, birdies were recorded by Chris Swatfager on hole No. 4, and Karen Baier, who achieved birdies on both holes No. 6 and No. 7.

This friendly competition continues to foster camaraderie and skill among the club’s members.
