Devin Williams gave up a walk-off grand slam on Sunday to the Miami Marlins.

That may not be the only bad news for the New York Mets closer, either.

When a pitcher with good stuff struggles, there's often speculation about whether he might be tipping his pitches -- having some kind of giveaway that allows the other team to know what he's throwing before he throws it.

Some have wondered about Williams giving away his pitches in the past, and that's happening again after the Heriberto Hernandez grand slam.

The key is a video circulating social media in which the runner on second base, Liam Hicks, is visible. Before Williams throws home, Hicks begins bouncing up and down.

It's not a natural motion for a guy on second base to do multiple times as the pitch is being thrown. And while there are other explanations, some fans have latched on to potential pitch tipping.

Here's how it looked:

It's fair to wonder if Hicks is just bouncing around a bit because the winning run is on third and his spot doesn't matter all that much.

It doesn't seem likely, though, that Hicks would choose to jump up and down in the batter's field of vision unless it meant something. Otherwise, it's just potentially distracting.

There's also no way to know if Hernandez was picking up on what Hicks may have been signaling, either. There's obviously a lot of mystery here.

But for whatever reason, Williams continues to struggle. Maybe this is why.
