Mississippi State Secures Commitment from 2027 Offensive Lineman Zyion Wesley: “They’re Building a Family”

Edna Karr's interior offensive lineman Zyion Wesley has officially committed to Mississippi State, marking a significant milestone in the Bulldogs' recruitment efforts. Wesley, who hails from New Orleans, has closely followed the team, attending multiple games in Starkville and visiting for spring practice in April.

Wesley expressed his admiration for the program, stating, “The development, the community and the overall coaching staff … they’re building a family over there.” His commitment underscores the strong relationship he has developed with the coaching staff and the welcoming environment at the university.

Mississippi State has been proactive in their pursuit of Wesley, having extended an offer to him about a year ago. The Bulldogs are set to host him for an official visit from June 19-21, which will be his only official visit. The team has successfully recruited players from Edna Karr in the past, including Leon Noil last cycle, indicating a growing connection between the school and the program.
