Neosho Girls Soccer falls to Willard at home
NEOSHO, MO. — Despite an early 1-0 lead, the Lady Wildcats fell to the Willard Lady Tigers 3-1 at Marion Sports Complex.
Right out of the gate, Neosho was aggressive on offense, having a couple of shots on goal in the opening minutes of the game; On a corner kick five minutes into the game, Nephtali Smith got her body on the ball and into the goal it went for the first goal of the matchup.
Willard responded back on offense shortly after with a pair of goals, making it 2-1.
Later in the first half was when things started to slow down. Both teams were focused on passing, ball movement, and possession.
