Teah Chavez won her singles match, but the Ohio State women's tennis team lost to Auburn 4-1 in the 2026 NCAA Tournament semifinals.

The Ohio State women's tennis team (27-5) lost in the Final Four of this year's NCAA tournament 4-1 to top-ranked Auburn on May 16. The No. 4 Buckeyes were making their second appearance in the semifinals, with their first trip coming in 2017. That year, they lost 4-3 to national runner-up Stanford.

Auburn opened Saturday's match at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia, by winning the doubles point, notching victories on courts two and one. Buckeye Teah Chavez won her singles match on court one, 6-1, 6-0 over DJ Bennett, but the Tigers took courts six, three and four.

The Buckeyes ended their season with the third-most wins in a single season in program history.

Auburn earned a championship matchup with No. 3 Texas A&M on May 17.
