Pirates Rally to Victory Over Dodgers, Ending Losing Streak

The Pittsburgh Pirates triumphed over the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-8, overcoming a five-run deficit and snapping a four-game losing streak at PNC Park on Wednesday night. Tyler Callihan shone brightly in the game, hitting two home runs, including a remarkable first-career shot.

The Dodgers (43-25) initially took control in the fourth inning, scoring two runs against pitcher Jared Jones. Max Muncy drove in Freddie Freeman with a two-out double to right field and later crossed home plate himself on an RBI single from Kyle Tucker, extending the Dodgers' lead.

However, the Pirates responded in the bottom of the fourth when Callihan smashed his first home run, sending the ball soaring 424 feet out of the stadium off pitcher Shohei Ohtani, narrowing the gap to 2-1.

The comeback effort showcased the Pirates' resilience, as they managed to turn the game around and bring home a much-needed victory.
