Ravens Foundation opens PLAY 60 grant applications
Ravens Foundation Opens Applications for PLAY 60 Grant Program
The Baltimore Ravens are once again investing in the next generation, as the Ravens Foundation, Inc. has officially opened applications for its annual PLAY 60 Grant program. Now in its 20th consecutive year, the initiative continues to support Maryland-based nonprofits focused on keeping kids active and healthy.
The grant offers up to $10,000 for qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations that develop or sustain programs centered around physical fitness and/or nutrition education for youth ages 5–18. To be considered, organizations must demonstrate measurable goals and ensure their programs take place within the state. It’s also worth noting that funding is strictly reserved for programming—not large capital projects like facilities or construction.
The impact here is real. Over the past 19 years, the Ravens Foundation has distributed more than $1.7 million across 360+ programs, reaching over 50,000 children throughout the Baltimore area.
Programs like Girls on the Run of Central Maryland, Horizon Day Camp, and the McKim Center’s Track & Field initiative highlight exactly what this grant is all about: empowering kids through movement, mentorship, and opportunity.
Applications are open now through May 29 and can be submitted here: https://www.baltimoreravens.com/play60grant.
