The Boston Red Sox honored the newest members of the Red Sox Hall of Fame prior to Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The team held a special pregame ceremony celebrating the Class of 2026: Bill Mueller, Johnny Damon, Mike Timlin, Jon Lester and the late Sherm Feller.

A 2004 World Series champion, Mueller earned a "memorable moment" plaque for his walk-off home run against the New York Yankees on July 24, 2004, propelling Boston to victory in a game featuring the famous brawl between Alex Rodriguez and Jason Varitek.

Timlin and Damon also played on the 2004 team with Mueller and received plaques as well. Timlin was a key member of the Red Sox bullpen during the final six seasons of his MLB career from 2003 to 2008, helping them win two World Series.

Damon was Boston's leadoff man and center fielder from 2002 to 2005, making two All-Star teams during that span. His two home runs, including a grand slam, in Game 7 of the 2004 ALCS at Yankee Stadium sealed the pennant for the Red Sox and completed their historic comeback.

Like Timlin, Lester was also a two-time World Series champion with Boston, winning it all in 2007 and 2013. He made three All-Star teams in his nine Red Sox seasons and also pitched a no-hitter in 2008 -- the club's first by a lefty since Mel Parnell in 1956.

The Red Sox also inducted former PA announcer Sherm Feller, who was the voice of Fenway Park from 1967 until just before his death in 1994. Feller welcomed millions of fans to Fenway and called thousands of games during his Boston career.

Their playing careers may be over, but their historic accomplishments and legacies will stand the test of time.
