On Tuesday, it made a notable stop at a North Hills restaurant, drawing a crowd of supporters eager to catch a glimpse of the coveted prize.

In addition to the trophy, Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov was also present, delighting fans with his appearance. "This is such a big moment, and it means so much," expressed Aislinn Murray. She added, "This one is for North Carolina. Come on and raise the Cup." Svechnikov visited a Raising Cane's on Hillsborough Street, where he interacted with fans and relished the joy of the team's championship win.

Reflecting on the achievement, Svechnikov shared, "We finally did it, you know. This was the year, and so happy right now and, you know, a pleasure to do it with the boys that I did." He noted that winning the Stanley Cup had been a dream since he was just 10 years old, highlighting that his performance in Game 5 was pivotal in securing the title.

Even two days post-victory, the celebrations continued, with many fans hoping for personal interactions with their heroes. Carlos Sanchez emphasized the significance of the moment for him and his sister, who introduced him to hockey. "It means a whole lot personally," he remarked. Liana Sanchez added, "It finally pays off," signaling the long-awaited triumph for the loyal fanbase.

Longtime supporter Michael Perlmutter showcased his artwork celebrating the team’s achievement, saying, "This team means a lot to all of us." Inside the restaurant, Svechnikov signed memorabilia and posed for photos while helping serve food. Meanwhile, fans eagerly lined up in North Hills to meet members of the championship squad, including captain Jordan Staal and stars like Sebastian Aho. Capturing the moment with the trophy, one child exclaimed, "I have to keep this for the rest of my life." With celebrations in full swing, excitement is building for the upcoming parade on Saturday, marking a significant chapter in the Hurricanes' history.
