Tarheeb Still Unveils New Jersey Number During Chargers OTA Practice
During Monday's organized team activities, Chargers cornerback Tarheeb Still showcased a significant change by sporting the No. 4 jersey, a departure from the No. 29 he wore in his initial two seasons in the NFL. The former fifth-round draft choice from Maryland stepped onto the practice field with pride in his new single-digit number.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh, who donned the same number during his time with the Chargers from 1999 to 2000, shared an encouraging moment with Still prior to the practice session. The last player to wear the No. 4 for the Chargers was running back Gus Edwards in 2024.
Still's jersey change comes at a crucial point in his career as he aims to build on a strong foundation established over his first two seasons. To date, he has recorded 115 tackles, defended 17 passes, snagged four interceptions, and made six tackles for loss.
As Still enters this pivotal phase, he looks to further solidify his role within the team.
