TCU Secures Commitment from 2027 Offensive Lineman Colton Steed
Texas Christian University (TCU) has strengthened its offensive line with the addition of Colton Steed, a promising 2027 recruit from Round Rock, Texas. The towering 6-foot-7, 265-pound athlete made his commitment official on Sunday after visiting the campus in Fort Worth.
Steed, who boasts an impressive 80-inch wingspan, has garnered interest from several programs, including North Texas, UTSA, New Mexico, and New Mexico State. His decision to join the Horned Frogs adds to TCU's growing list of recruits for the 2027 class.
With Steed's commitment, TCU now has 11 recruits, including three offensive linemen. He joins fellow linemen Ty Greene and Alexander Herrera in what is shaping up to be a strong offensive line class.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity, Steed tweeted, "I am 100% Committed to @TCUFootball! I'm extremely grateful to everyone that helped to get me here, and above all to God. This has been an incredible journey and there is no better place for it to continue. #GoFrogs 🐸"
Steed's commitment marks a significant step for TCU as they aim to enhance their roster for the future. As college football continues to evolve, securing promising talent like Steed is crucial for building a competitive program.
