Head coach Robert Saleh, who joined the Titans following a disappointing era under Brian Callahan, is set to lead the team into a new chapter. During the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, Saleh discussed the team's direction and strategy. His expertise as a former defensive coordinator has been instrumental in reshaping Tennessee's defense, highlighted by the acquisitions of John Franklin-Myers, Jermaine Johnson, and promising cornerbacks Alonte Taylor and Cor’Dale Flott.
The Titans also made significant offensive upgrades, adding 1,000-yard receiver Wan’dale Robinson and selecting Ohio State's Carnell Tate fourth overall in the draft. Additionally, they strengthened their running back group with the addition of Nicholas Singleton, a two-time 1,000-yard rusher from Penn State. While many analysts praised the Titans for a strong offseason, it remains to be seen if these changes will immediately elevate them to playoff contention. However, there is optimism that the team could secure eight or nine wins in 2026, setting the stage for potential postseason success in the future.
