Texas A&M Enhances Pitching Depth with Transfer of Left-Handed Pitcher Logan Prisco
In a significant boost to their pitching roster, Texas A&M has secured the commitment of Logan Prisco, a left-handed pitcher previously with South Carolina. This marks the fifth addition from the transfer portal for the Aggies and highlights their recent efforts to enhance their pitching staff.
Prisco, who primarily operated out of the bullpen for the Gamecocks, made 20 appearances, including two as a starter, totaling 28.2 innings. He achieved a commendable 3.45 ERA while notching 34 strikeouts against 17 walks, resulting in a solid 2.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio, showcasing his ability to maintain control on the mound.
Before joining South Carolina, Prisco excelled at Florence-Darlington Technical College, where he played a pivotal role in leading his team to the 2025 JuCo World Series. His performance earned him First Team All-Region 10 honors, as he recorded the highest number of wins in the region and ranked second in strikeouts.
The recent days have been remarkably fruitful for Texas A&M as they focus on strengthening their pitching lineup. By prioritizing the acquisition of skilled pitchers, the Aggies are rapidly transforming their roster, combining experience and potential for success. With recruiting specialist Nolan Cain back on the staff, the upcoming phase of transfer activities promises to be intriguing as the team continues to build a formidable lineup.
