Tom Aspinall Set for Rematch Against Ciryl Gane in Paris

In a thrilling turn of events at UFC Freedom 250, Ciryl Gane emerged victorious in the co-main event, defeating former two-division champion Alex Pereira via TKO. This victory marks Gane's second interim championship title, paving the way for a highly anticipated unification bout against current champion Tom Aspinall later this year.

Immediately following his win, Gane expressed his desire for a rematch with Aspinall, suggesting that the fight take place in his home city of Paris. “Next, everybody knows already. Let's do that in Paris in September,” Gane stated during an interview with Joe Rogan in the Octagon.

On Monday, Aspinall confirmed his willingness to face Gane in September on his YouTube channel, stating, “Paris in September? I'll do that. I'll do that. Let me know. ... I don't mind. I'll go to Paris. Let me know. I'll be there.”

The two fighters previously met at UFC 321 last October, a match that ended controversially in a no contest due to a double eye poke that left Aspinall unable to continue. Despite still recovering from that incident, Aspinall is optimistic about returning to the ring soon. “Ciryl Gane in Paris. Let's Go,” he added, signaling his eagerness for the upcoming clash.
