USC Secures Commitment from Three-Star Linebacker Dylan Wafle

USC has welcomed a new addition to its football program, as three-star linebacker Dylan Wafle has officially committed to the Trojans. This announcement comes on the heels of the Trojans boasting the nation's top recruiting class for the 2026 cycle, highlighted by his older brother, defensive lineman Luke Wafle, who is recognized as the top overall recruit in the country.

Dylan, who hails from Avon Old Farms School in Avon, Connecticut, chose USC over other contenders such as Duke, Boston College, and UCF. His commitment adds to an impressive lineup for the Trojans, who have now secured 14 recruits for the 2027 class.

According to 247Sports Composite, Dylan Wafle is ranked as the No. 1,542 player overall and stands as the No. 140 linebacker in his recruiting class. Currently, USC's 2027 recruiting class is positioned at No. 8 nationally, with Oregon being the only Big Ten school ranked higher at No. 6.
