Watch Christian Turner hit walk-off home run in Arkansas baseball win over Ole Miss
FAYETTEVILLE — An unlikely freshman proved to be the hero in a dramatic walk-off victory for Arkansas baseball.
The No. 22 Razorbacks (32-17, 13-11 SEC) trailed No. 18 Ole Miss (32-17, 12-12) by one run entering the bottom of the ninth, but Nolan Souza gave the Hogs some life with a leadoff single. That set the stage for first-year outfielder Christian Turner, who battled Rebels' closer Walker Hooks in a seven-pitch at-bat that ended with a 410-foot home run to right field.

After splitting the first two games, Turner's second career home run secured a winning weekend for the Razorbacks.
Turner entered the game in the bottom of the seventh with the game tied at 3-3 as a pinch runner for Zack Stewart. He ended up getting stranded at second base as the Hogs left the bases loaded in the inning.
Judd Utermark made Arkansas pay in the top of the eighth with a leadoff home run against Arkansas' closer Ethan McElvain.
That blast looked like it was going to be the difference in the series until Turner rose to the occasion in the following inning.
Arkansas returns to action next weekend with its final home series of the season against Oklahoma.
