Will Seahawks face toughest stretch of 2026 season from Weeks 15-18?

The Seattle Seahawks will face the most trying part of their schedule next season in the last four games of the year.

According to Sports Illustrated’s Eva Geitheim, the toughest stretch of Seahawks’ schedule in 2026 will be from Weeks 15-18 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams twice, and the Carolina Panthers.

The time at which this four-game stretch comes in the season makes it perhaps the most difficult stretch for Seattle. Three of the four games are on the road, against the Eagles in Week 15, the Panthers in Week 17, and the Rams in Week 18.

The difficulty is perhaps on par with the Seahawks’ four-game stretch against the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears from Weeks 5-8, though three of those four matchups will be played at home.

The Seahawks will also face great challenges in the three games before their final four-game stretch of the year against the 49ers, Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants that will perhaps factor into the team’s performance to end the year.

The Eagles have it all on offense and defense, and will be a tough opponent to face on the road. Seattle’s receiving corps will be tested by first-team All-Pro cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, and the Seahawks’ defense will need to contain the potent attack of Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, and A.J. Brown (if he’s not traded).

The Seahawks split their season series against the Rams in 2025. However, Los Angeles got stronger in the offseason, adding two-time All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie to their secondary. Seattle will play Los Angeles at home, giving them a chance to pick up the first victory over the Rams in this year’s season series.

The Panthers made the playoffs last season, but will be the easiest matchup for the Seahawks in this final stretch of the year. Carolina no longer has 1,000-yard rusher Rico Dowdle but Seattle’s secondary will have to deal with a Panthers receiving corp led by Tetairoa McMillan.
