Wolfpack Secures Commitment from JUCO Center Shah Hall

The Wolfpack has bolstered its roster by securing a commitment from 6’11” center Shah Hall, a transfer from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Hall's decision came down to a choice between Arkansas and NC State, ultimately leading him to join the Wolfpack. He is expected to serve as a backup center, providing support behind Kyle Evans.

This addition complements an already solid eight-man rotation. While the team could potentially expand to a nine-man rotation depending on Wilkins' contributions, no further significant additions are anticipated for the current season. The lineup appears well-defined, featuring a mix of new transfers and returning players.

Projected starting positions include Preston Edmead at point guard, with Darius Adams as his backup. In the shooting guard position, Christian Hammond leads, also supported by Adams. Paul McNeil will take on wing duties, while the forward roles may alternate between Eemeli Yalaho and Robert Jurkovic. Evans will hold down the center position, with Hall backing him up. The developmental players include Kingston Whitty, Jacari Brim, Comeh Emuobor, and RJ Keene.

Hall's stats reflect his potential impact on the team. Over three seasons in junior college, he averaged 9.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game. His shooting percentage stands impressively at 65.1%. Last season at Shelton State, he played 30 games, starting in 28 and averaging 15.6 minutes per game before an injury sidelined him for the entire following season.

This latest commitment emphasizes the Wolfpack's commitment to strengthening their roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.
