2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson Round 1 tee times & pairings
The 2026 PGA Tour season continues on Thursday, May 21, with the opening round of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is back to defend his title.
Scheffler defeated South Africa’s Erik van Rooyen by eight strokes last year and is once again hoping for a dominant performance.
The World No. 1 will tee off at 8:33 a.m. ET from Tee No. 10, alongside Brooks Koepka and Si Woo Kim.

An intriguing storyline to watch will be whether Jordan Spieth can return to the win column for the first time in four years. Spieth’s last official PGA Tour victory was at the 2022 RBC Heritage, claiming the win over Patrick Cantlay in a sudden-death playoff. Thursday’s first round will air live from 3:00 p.m. ET to 7:00 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel, with live streaming available from PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET. PGA Tour Live will include featured group and featured hole coverage.
