AAU Junior Volleyball National Championships Set to Return to Orlando

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is gearing up for its annual Junior Volleyball National Championships, scheduled to take place from June 16 to July 10 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. This prestigious tournament, recognized as the largest volleyball event globally, is anticipated to draw nearly 80,000 athletes alongside approximately 300,000 spectators to the region. Local officials project that the championships will generate over $760 million in economic impact for Central Florida.

Over the span of 24 days, around 6,000 teams, consisting of both girls and boys from the United States and select international locations, will compete across various age divisions ranging from 10U to 18U. A total of 76 national champions will be crowned during this extensive event, which has a long-standing tradition of being held in Orlando. Notably, the championships set a record in 2025 as the largest sporting event ever hosted at the Orange County Convention Center.

In addition to the competitive aspects, the AAU will partner with the Side-Out Foundation through its AAU Cares initiative, which aims to support breast cancer research. Participants are encouraged to don pink attire in solidarity with the “Dig Pink” campaign. Furthermore, championship matches will be streamed live and made available for replay on the AAU’s streaming service, AAU+.
