Alex Caruso Dismisses Concerns About Spurs as a Challenge

In a recent interview, Alex Caruso addressed questions regarding whether the San Antonio Spurs pose a significant challenge for his team. He stated, “There’s nothing that needs to be solved. We could’ve won the game tonight. You would’ve been asking them the same thing.”

Caruso emphasized that the narrative surrounding the Spurs as a persistent issue is unfounded. He pointed out, “I don’t think there’s this narrative that this is a bugaboo.” Instead, he believes that his team simply needed to perform better to secure a victory and advance to the NBA Finals.

Recognizing the potential of the Spurs, Caruso noted, “They’re a good team, they’re young. (We’ll) both probably be around for a while.” He acknowledged the need for improvement on his side, stating, “But we’ve gotta get better and try and win next time.”
