AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (17-18) lost 12-2 (BOX SCORE)

Ullola started for Sugar Land but struggled allowing 5 runs over 4 innings. The offense got on the board in the 4th on a Price RBI single. The pen struggled allowing another 7 runs as the Isotopes extended their lead. The offense got one back in the 9th on a Perez solo HR but that was it as Sugar Land fell 12-2.

Note: Murray has a 1.00 ERA this season.


AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (13-15) lost 10-6 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board in the first inning on an Austin RBI single. They got another run in the 2nd inning on a Lytle RBI groundout. Nezuh got the start and allowed 4 runs over 4 innings of work. The offense tied things up in the 3rd inning scoring a run on an error and a Hernandez sac fly. The pen struggled giving up 6 runs as the Cardinals took a 10-4 lead. The offense got 2 runs back in the 9th on a Bush 2 run single but that was it as they fell 10-6.

Note: Holy has a .435 OBP this season.


A+: Asheville Tourists (7-21) POSTPONED

A: Fayetteville Woodpeckers (11-18) lost 5-3 (BOX SCORE

Potter got the start for the Woodpeckers and allowed 1 run over 2.1 innings. The Woodpeckers tied the game in the 4th inning on an Ochoa RBI double. Oakes pitched in relief and was solid allowing 1 run over 4 innings. Rosario came on for the final 2 innings and allowed 3 runs. The offense got one in the 8th on a Flores solo HR and one in the 9th on a Huezo sac fly but that was it as they fell 5-3.

Note: Ochoa is hitting .375 over his last 14 games.
