The Olympic snowboarder took to TikTok to humorously dismiss the claims, suggesting that her supposed influence stemmed from her athletic achievements and accolades.

In her video, which she posted on June 1, Kim quipped, “What I said in my big NFL meetings to orchestrate this entire trade with all the power I apparently hold because I snowboard sometimes and have cute medals.” This comment referenced a popular meme involving a moment from a 2016 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where Kris Jenner encourages Kim Kardashian to reach out to Taylor Swift during Kanye West's well-known feud with the singer.

In a follow-up caption, Kim further clarified her stance, stating, “I’ve been giggling at these rumors the last couple of days because you guys are giving me TOO MUCH CREDIT. I found out right before it was publicized and was planning to show up and support him wherever he ended up. But I genuinely can’t believe this is happening and am so excited to show him around my city. Go Rams!"

Following the trade announcement, Garrett shared a heartfelt message to the city of Cleveland, expressing gratitude for the nine seasons he spent there. He wrote on Instagram, “Cleveland made me tougher. You challenged me.
