Takeaways from Colts picks in Day 3 mock draft
- Taking an offensive tackle, even in Round 4, should be in play. The depth and competition behind Bernhard Raimann and Jalen Travis can be improved. Luke Tenuta and Blake Freeland are competing to be first off the bench currently.
- Hopefully, the Colts are able to address defensive end before Round 7. More pass-rush juice is still needed.
- Taking both a running back and a quarterback is in play. Adding competition behind Jonathan Taylor would be a good idea, while the Colts seemed to do their homework on the quarterback position during the pre-draft process.
- The Colts will not be drafting another safety.
