Day 2 of 2026 Elite 11 Finals: Highlights and Performers from Pro Day

The second day of the 2026 Elite 11 Finals is currently in progress at Mira Costa High School in Greater Los Angeles, showcasing 20 of the nation’s premier quarterback prospects. This prestigious event, celebrating its 28th anniversary this year, is a hallmark for high school quarterbacks, bringing together elite talent for three days filled with competition, training, and skill development, culminating in a 7-on-7 showcase on Sunday.

Friday evening kicked off with various drill stations, followed by an exciting 'rail shot' throwing challenge. Tonight, the Pro Day will see each quarterback participate in a scripted workout that mirrors the NFL Combine experience, alongside an accuracy challenge on the opposite end of the field. All 20 participants earned their invitations to the finals by excelling at one of the seven regional camps held throughout the spring.

This year's roster is impressive, featuring all 10 of the top-ranked quarterbacks in the 2027 Rivals Industry Ranking and 15 of the top 20. Key figures from Rivals, including Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power, along with experts Greg Biggins, Adam Gorney, and Brandon Huffman, are present to provide insights and analysis throughout the event.

As the Pro Day session is set to begin, each quarterback will have the opportunity to complete 20 throws, with Rivals documenting their completion rates. On Day 1, Nebraska commit Trae Taylor stood out as the MVP, impressing with his performance across the drills. “Taylor was in rhythm, throwing with velocity and quality accuracy throughout the night,” said Power. Currently ranked as the No. 63 overall prospect and the No. 6 QB in the 2027 class, Taylor has been committed to Nebraska since May 1, 2025.

In addition to Taylor, three other Big Ten commitments—Will Mencl from Oregon and Kamden Lopati from Michigan—were recognized among the top performers. The SEC also had a strong showing, with five commitments placing in the top 11, including Keegan Croucher from Ole Miss and Jake Nawrot from Kentucky taking second and third, respectively. The competition continues to heat up as the Pro Day unfolds.
