Despite experiencing some inconsistencies, Woolen's talent remains unquestioned. He recorded six interceptions in his rookie season but has since faced challenges. Pereles outlined the possible outcomes for Woolen, suggesting that while there could be some struggles, the potential for greatness exists: "The ceiling is that the Eagles have the best cornerback trio in the NFL, and Woolen is a Pro Bowler again."

In 2025, Woolen participated in 16 games, amassing 41 tackles and 12 pass breakups, along with one interception. His performance was recognized by Pro Football Focus, which ranked him 32nd among 217 qualified cornerbacks. Since entering the league in 2022, Woolen has established himself as a dependable cover corner, even leading the league in interceptions during his rookie year and earning a Pro Bowl selection.
