During his time with the Red Sox, Hamilton played 138 games but struggled to make a significant impact, particularly in harnessing his impressive speed. This season, however, he has become a regular fixture in the Brewers' lineup, starting 43 of 47 games, and his speed has started to pay dividends.

While Hamilton recorded only five bunt hits in his three years in Boston, he achieved his tenth bunt hit of the current season on Monday, placing him at the top of the MLB leaderboard in that category. This statistic reflects not just his individual growth, but also the development he is experiencing in Milwaukee.

In addition to his success at the plate, Hamilton has been utilized more at third base—an area where he had only one appearance with the Red Sox. His defensive skills have shone through, earning him a plus-one outs above average at his new position.

The Brewers have effectively capitalized on Hamilton's abilities, making adjustments to his swing to enhance his hitting performance. Although he carries a batting average of .239, his recent form shows promise, as he has been slashing .262/.326/.405 over his last 15 games. Furthermore, he has made several impressive catches in recent weeks, benefiting from consistent playing time and the team's strategic adjustments.

In the same trade that sent Hamilton to Milwaukee, the Red Sox also parted ways with Kyle Harrison and Shane Drohan, both of whom have thrived with the Brewers. Meanwhile, Durbin, who was acquired by Boston, has been gradually improving after a slow start.
