Four-Star Offensive Lineman Antonio Keefer Chooses Ole Miss

Ole Miss has successfully secured the commitment of four-star offensive lineman Antonio Keefer following his official visit to the campus, marking a significant achievement in their recruiting efforts. Keefer, who hails from Southwind High School in Memphis, Tennessee, is recognized as the No. 209 player in the Rivals Industry Ranking and brings considerable talent to the Rebels' offensive line.

The decision for Keefer to join Ole Miss comes after a lengthy recruitment process that saw him receive over 30 scholarship offers. “They were the first one to offer in May of last year,” Keefer shared with Rivals. “When they offered me, it made me feel like I actually had a chance and a place to start. They believed in me, and that meant a lot. Ole Miss was my top school from the beginning.”

Throughout his recruitment, Keefer developed a strong connection with the Ole Miss program. “I have visited Ole Miss more than 10 times, a lot more than any other school and I love the coaches. I love it there. The people and the culture are great at Ole Miss,” he stated. Despite facing competition from schools like LSU, Keefer emphasized that Ole Miss was always his preferred choice due to the positive atmosphere and strong coaching staff. “The culture, the coaches, the environment, and the alumni were some of the main reasons I committed to Ole Miss,” he explained.

His relationship with the coaching staff, particularly head coach Pete Golding, played a crucial role in his commitment. “Coach Golding is an amazing guy. He’s a guy you can build a relationship with like that. He is very personable, and that is all I can ask for. Coach Golding, Coach Garrison, and the staff actually care about their players. It is family first in Oxford,” Keefer concluded.
