In a thrilling Division 4 semifinal, Hamilton-Wenham continued their reign as defending champions by defeating Bromfield 3-2. The match took place at St. John's, showcasing the prowess of the top-seeded Generals, who now hold a record of 17-2 this season.
Michelle Xu led the charge for Hamilton-Wenham in the first singles match, overcoming Emily McIntosh with a score of 6-4, 6-2. Misha Kalava followed suit in the second singles, defeating Krishna Guruju 6-4, 6-1, cementing the Generals' strong position early in the contest.
The doubles matches proved pivotal, with Gabriella Jewitt and Madeline Fennell battling back from a set down to triumph over Bromfield's Meghna Nambiar and Khivi Nanra, finishing 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Additionally, Charlotte Ireland claimed victory in third singles against Nina Livornese, winning 6-3, 6-3.
