Just two starts after breaking the record for the most 100 mph pitches thrown by a starting pitcher in a single game, and one outing after setting a new mark for the most pitches clocked at 101 mph or above, the Milwaukee Brewers ace delivered an electrifying performance against the Philadelphia Phillies on June 12.

In a jaw-dropping first inning, Misiorowski threw a total of 13 pitches, with an astonishing 10 of those reaching 102 mph or higher. The highlight of this inning was a blistering pitch that registered at 104.5 mph, marking the fastest pitch ever recorded by a starting pitcher. He started the inning by missing with two fastballs at 103.4 mph aimed at Kyle Schwarber, the current MLB home run leader, before hitting the strike zone with a 104 mph throw.

Following that, he tossed another fastball at 103.5 mph that was fouled back and then capped off the sequence with his record-breaking pitch, which resulted in a foul tip strikeout. This pitch surpassed his previous personal best of 104.3 mph, achieved against Kyle Tucker during last year's National League Divisional Series. Misiorowski wasn’t done yet; he dominated Phillies shortstop Trea Turner in just four pitches, finishing him off with a 103.5 mph fastball that sailed above the strike zone. He concluded the inning by throwing two more impressive fastballs clocked at 104.2 mph and 104.1 mph to Bryce Harper, notching three strikeouts overall.
