Jamestown Golfers Conclude Season at State Championships
JAMESTOWN — The 2025-26 athletic year came to a close on Wednesday as the Jamestown High School boys golf team participated in the concluding round of the NDHSAA Class A Boys Golf State Championships. Landry Rham and Luke LeFevre represented their school, with Rham finishing the tournament with a score of 185 over two days, while LeFevre recorded a total of 189.
In a tightly contested event, Minot High School and Grand Forks Red River each completed the 36 holes with a total of 625. However, Minot claimed victory in the tie-breaker due to the performance of their fifth scorer. Williston secured the third position among the twelve teams, while Minot North rounded out the top four.
Kolby Koerner of Red River emerged as the Class A State Champion, posting an impressive two-round score of 147. Additionally, four golfers from the West Region, including Tripp Toepfer and Parker Argent from Minot High, Kyler Weishaar of Minot North, and Kane Shannon from Williston, achieved top-10 finishes in the competition.
