Mahopac Hosts Annual Football Passing Scrimmages

Even though the final whistle has blown and equipment is returned, the world of football never truly stops. Teams have been diligently training in weight rooms over the past few months, and on Wednesday, a dozen squads gathered for the Mahopac Football Passing Scrimmages. This event has served as a crucial networking opportunity for teams over the past six years.

Participating teams included Arlington, Carmel, Fox Lane, Harrison, John Jay-Cross River, John Jay-East Fishkill, Lakeland, Mahopac, New Rochelle, Panas, Rye, and Somers. Each team had the chance to showcase their skills and build rapport with other programs.

In addition to the scrimmages, Mahopac will also host two sessions of the Block & Tackle High School Camp, scheduled for June 30 to July 2 and July 20 to 23. These camps offer players further opportunities to develop their skills in a competitive environment.
