Michigan Prospect Drew Aagesen Chooses Iowa State Over MSU

Drew Aagesen, a three-star defensive lineman from Goodrich, Michigan, has officially announced his commitment to Iowa State. The news came shortly after his official visit to the Big 12 school this past Saturday.

Michigan State had been eyeing Aagesen for some time and was scheduled to host him for an official visit next weekend. However, with his commitment to the Cyclones, it seems that visit is now off the table.

Aagesen holds a recruiting rating of 86 in the 247Sports database, ranking as the No. 127 defensive lineman and the 21st player from Michigan in the 2027 class. Although Michigan State's interest in him surfaced only recently, Iowa State has been in pursuit of Aagesen for several months.

While it's possible that Michigan State will continue their efforts to recruit him, Aagesen's decision to join Iowa State appears final as he embarks on his collegiate career.
