Myles Garrett Takes the Field with Rams in Practice Debut

Myles Garrett, the standout defensive player recently acquired by the Los Angeles Rams, made his practice debut on Thursday, surprising many who speculated on his participation in the offseason activities. During his initial press conference with the team, he had been vague about joining the organized team activities (OTAs).

The Rams showcased Garrett in his No. 95 jersey and helmet as he practiced alongside his new teammates. Dressed in a hoodie beneath his jersey, Garrett stepped onto the field for the first time in Woodland Hills, just three days after his trade from the Cleveland Browns was finalized on Monday.

The Rams documented his arrival on social media, capturing the excitement of his first day. “Not your average 9 to 5...” the team tweeted, accompanied by a video of Garrett’s entrance. Additional photos depicted him participating in various drills, indicating a positive start to his time in Los Angeles.

While Garrett had a history of opting out of voluntary workouts with the Browns, he appears committed to engaging in the Rams' offseason regimen for now. The team has three more OTA sessions scheduled for June 8-9 and June 11, leading up to their mandatory minicamp set for June 15-16.

This shift marks a new chapter for Garrett, who has been a prominent figure in the NFL since being drafted first overall in 2017.
