Nevada Quarterback Thaddeus Thatcher Discusses Recent UNLV Visit and Upcoming Trips to UCF and Michigan

Thaddeus Thatcher, the quarterback from Arbor View High School in Las Vegas, recently completed an official visit to UNLV and has two more scheduled for the week. As one of the top uncommitted quarterbacks on the West Coast, Thatcher previously visited Oregon State in May and found his way back to UNLV this past weekend.

“I’ve been to UNLV a ton of times, probably more than any other recruit,” Thatcher shared, noting his and his father's enthusiasm for the program. He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to connect with current players and get a deeper understanding of their experiences. “We knew coach (Tony) Sanches and coach (Barry) Odom really well and now coach Mullen, so the comfort level is really high here,” he added.

Following his UNLV visit, Thatcher embarked on a trip to the University of Central Florida (UCF) before concluding the week with a visit to Michigan. “My dad is a big fan of coach Frost, and coach (McKenzie) Milton is a UCF legend, so I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s all like there,” he remarked. He also mentioned a nostalgic element to the Florida trip, recalling his past visit during a Make-A-Wish event, and expressed excitement about visiting Disney World with a charitable twist.

The upcoming visit to Michigan holds special significance for Thatcher, as he will be accompanied by his adopted brother, Damari Warren. “I like Michigan a lot; my relationship with the coaches goes way back,” he explained, referencing his early commitment to the team when the coaching staff was at Utah. He feels confident in the program's future but appreciates the chance to explore other options before making a final decision.

Thatcher and Warren are set to announce their college choices during a ceremony at their church on June 26th.
