The Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens upcoming NHL playoff series is getting a lot of hype from around the hockey world.
It's also getting attention right along the border at Niagara Falls.
As many know, a portion of the Falls lie on the Canadian side of the border, while another part is on the American side.
They're lighting up each side of Niagara Falls for their respective team.

Ironically because these are the Canadiens' colors, the Canadian side of the water will be lit up in red, white and blue.
The Sabres' colors will be on the American side: blue and gold.

MORE: Canadiens win a playoff game like none other in NHL history
This series is highly anticipated in large part because of the young talent for both teams, along with a couple of teams seeking their deepest playoff run in a while.
But hey, a little border feud never hurt a sporting event, either.
The Canadiens are the last team from Canada still alive. The Sabres are in the second round for the first time in 19 years.
Buckle up.
